Terms & Conditions
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
PRICES AND PAYMENT
We reserve the right to adjust prices due to increased costs for goods, services, taxes, and fees, or other expenses beyond our control.
DAMAGES
Guests are financially responsible for any damage to rooms, furnishings, interior decorations, or other equipment.
FORCE MAJEURE
If circumstances beyond our control arise—such as strikes, fires, extreme weather, or other events that prevent your stay or activity from taking place—we reserve the right to cancel the stay or activity without being liable for compensation. In general, we consider bad weather to be normal and do not grant customers the right to cancel or modify their booking.
INSURANCE
We recommend that all our guests purchase cancellation insurance from an insurance provider to cover themselves in case of cancellation. Additionally, all guests are advised to have valid travel insurance. It is a prerequisite for booking that you have travel and medical insurance covering yourself and any dependents/travel companions for the entire trip/stay.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to make changes to our terms for specific bookings—the person making the reservation will be informed of such changes.
SELSKAP/ARRANGEMENT
This does not apply to table reservations in the restaurant but to private events and gatherings held in one of our banquet venues.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation of a confirmed event must be made at least 3 months in advance.
If the event is canceled 2-3 months before the scheduled date, we will invoice up to 50% of the quoted price for food and venue rental.
If the event is canceled less than 1 month before the scheduled date, we will invoice up to 100% of the quoted price for food and venue rental.
CHANGES
Changes in the number of guests for meals must be submitted in writing as early as possible.
If changes in guest numbers are not reported at least 2 days in advance, the originally booked number will be used as the basis for payment.
ACCOMODATION
ANCELLATION POLICY:
If the accommodation is canceled less than 7 days before arrival, the full amount will be charged.
If you cancel less than one month before arrival, you are entitled to a 50% refund of the total amount.
Cancellations made more than one month before arrival are eligible for a 100% refund, minus transaction fees.
SHARED FACILITIES:
Guests staying in accommodations with shared facilities such as bathrooms, toilets, and common areas must ensure that these spaces are left in the same condition they would like to find them in after use.
QUIET HOURS:
For all accommodations except the cabin “Mimrebu”, quiet hours apply from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Playing music or engaging in loud conversations (including parties) is not permitted during these hours.
CHARTER BOAT TOURS
SAFETY
Guests must always follow the instructions of the boat captain/crew. The captain has full authority over the vessel and has the right to deny participation to anyone perceived as a safety risk. This may be due to health conditions, physical state, intoxication, or behavior that disturbs other guests.
The safety of our guests and crew is our top priority. We reserve the right to modify or cancel boat trips due to unforeseen issues with the vessel, equipment, or crew—as well as poor weather conditions. If weather conditions make the original route unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel the trip based on the captain’s recommendation. Alternatively, the captain may adjust the route to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests. Route changes due to weather conditions do not entitle guests to refunds or price reductions.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Boat trips can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days before departure.
If the trip is canceled between 14 and 7 days before departure, up to 50% of the total amount may be charged.
If the trip is canceled less than 7 days before departure, 100% of the total amount may be charged.
All bookings, changes, and cancellations must be submitted in writing.
DELAYS
If passengers do not arrive at the agreed time, this may result in a shorter trip or, in some cases, the partial or full cancellation of the trip. In such cases, the full amount will still be charged, and no refunds will be issued.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Guests can bring and use personal belongings such as cameras, mobile phones, bags, jewelry, glasses, etc., at their own risk during boat trips.
